Introducing Genesis Miles, an exciting new program designed to recognize and reward our loyal riders! Not only will you be able to keep track of your miles, but you will earn rewards that can be spent at Genesis just like cash!
How to Join the Program
To be eligible for the Genesis Miles Program, you must become a member of our Meetup Group. The name of our group is Genesis Bicycles Lehigh Valley Bike Rides. If you are not already a member of Meetup, it takes just a few minutes to sign up or you can join using your existing Facebook account. All Meetup members will receive a FREE Genesis T-Shirt upon completion of their first Genesis ride. Just stop in the store afterward or contact Organizer Rob McVeigh through Meetup to claim your gift. Remember, only Genesis Meetup membersqualify for the Genesis Miles Program. You will automatically be enrolled in the Genesis Miles Program once you join.
How the Program Works
The 2013 Genesis Miles Program will begin on Thursday, November 1, 2012 and end on Thursday, October 31, 2013. You will accumulate Rewards Points during that timeframe every time you participate in a Genesis ride or event. You will earn one point for every mile you ride on a Genesis ride.
For example, you participate in the EZ 20 and ride 20 miles.
1 mile = 1 point
So, you will earn 20 points. It’s that simple.
The points earning system breaks down as follows:
Earn: Receive:
100-299 Points = $10 Rewards Certificate
300-499 Points = $20 Rewards Certificate
500-999 Points = $30 Rewards Certificate
1000-1999 Points = $50 Rewards Certificate
Bonus: Earn 50 extra points for every 10 Genesis Rides completed in the time frame!
Rewards Certificates can be used toward the purchase of any item in the store (Gift Cards excluded). Rewards Certificates will be awarded in November and will expire December 31, 2013.
How to Track Your Genesis Points and Miles
Ride Leaders will have a Genesis Miles Sign-In Sheet that you will add your name to at the start of each ride. The ride leader will add the actual miles ridden at the end of the ride. It is your responsibility to legibly write your name on the sign-in sheet at the start of each ride in order to receive your points.
A link to each rider’s Genesis Mileage and accrued Rewards Points will be updated weekly and available on our website and Meetup Group page. You may also submit your total year-to-date mileage (mileage that includes both personal miles and Genesis ride miles) to Genesis if you’d like and we will post that as well. Your total year-to-date miles will not be part of the program, but you can use it to set your own goals, compare with other Genesis riders, or to boast to your friends! Only actual Genesis Ride miles will be counted. Here’s an example of how it will look online:

At the end of the year, several riders will be presented with Achievement Awards and every Genesis Miles participant will have a chance at winning an Awesome Grand Prize! Genesis Miles Members can also take advantage of special offers like our Genesis Miles Member Kit.
